Love ne Mila Di Jodi family drama is a story that will be the stars in the near future. We talk about Mila Love Ne Di Jodi’s Shakuntalam Telefilms which will start from June 22.

“The USP if the show is that it’s not a regular love story but has a family drama. Along side the track of each romantic pair can become a concept of its own. It focuses into the interpersonal relationships too,” commented the producer, Nelima Bajpai.

Story of three brothers and three sisters.  Prithvi, Sameer and Varun are three brothers who live with their mother in Manali. They bring a happy and comfortable life and wait for the return of their father from Mumbai, after retirement. They want to spend time with their father and try to ensure that their father lives in comfort and convenience.  However,  the situation when their father, Balraj, did not return from Mumbai and can not be found.

Int the show ‘Love ne Mila Di Jodi‘, The three brothers started a trip to a place to find their father in Mumbai, much to their surprise, their father is involved in murder. Prithvi and Sameer attempt to get to the bottom of the problem by trying to meet Ila Gujral but their attempts are futile, which leads them to suspect something more sinister is afoot. After further attempts are futile, the three boys decide to take revenge for their fathers predicament and wreck Ila Gujrals family. In the process, they meet Ila’s family which includes the three sisters; Damini, Avni and Roshni. Though they had left their dreams to free their father from the murder charge, their plans are waylaid when they actually fall in love with the three sisters. All six characters have totally distinct personalities which make for a great on-screen chemistry for all the couples.

Characters of Love Ne Mila Di Jodi

The central characters of the story are – Prithvi, Sameer, Damini, Avni, Varun and Roshni.

1. Prithvi is the chivalrous guy who always believes in helping and protecting women. He is simple at heart and not very street smart. Self righteous, he believes in justice and being fair with everyone no matter who it is.

2. Sameer is the charmer of the group. Always a hit with the girls, he is smart, bright and has an idea for every situation. He wants to make it big but doesn’t want to work for it.

3. Damini is an insecure girl, but outwardly strong person who is the sole supporting pillar of her family. She thinks she knows it all and her arrogance is quite distinct. In spite of her shortcomings, she is fiercely protective of her family and fulfills all possible roles in the family – as a son, and as a brother to her siblings. Unfortunately, she is married to a guy who doesn’t really love her and she feels the lack of a strong paternal figure in her life.

4. Avni is a homely, humble girl, the perfect homemaker. She doesn’t believe herself to be pretty at all and though she believes she will find her price charming one day, she doesn’t see it happening with any of her guy friends as they are just “friends”.

5. Varun is a bright guy, who always aced his subjects in class and adept at extra curricular activities. He is sacrificing and wants to earn the respect of his siblings. He’s very set in his idea of women and knows what he wants but cannot stand the loud and dumb type of girls. Much to his chagrin, he keeps falling for Roshni, who is exactly that, loud and not his type. No matter how much he tries to push her away, she keeps coming back into his life, some way or the other.

6. Roshni is a old world, orthodox girl who keeps waiting for her Prince Charming to arrive but hasn’t really found such a person till now. She keeps finding all the boys she doesn’t want to be with. Varun doesn’t give her any special attention, much to her surprise as she is always getting attention from guys.
